Camping in Trenta valley

Our friends were selling their autohome - Columbus, and we decided to buy it off. I would say we are now glamping on our car. It is very good solution for us camping fans, cuz camping you either love or you just hate it. This way you avoid of setting up and cleaning up the tent, also no water problem if it rains.

We stayed in Lepena for 2 nights. On Saturday we were hiking to Krnska jezera. We woke up quite early and it was worth it. Waking up below the mountain tops is a scenery you can`t get everywhere. The trail is nice and the climb is not to steep. The view on the lake is a perfect reward on the top. It takes 2h from the bottom to the lake. From there you have aprox 2,30 - 3h to the top of Krn. We left this for next time, since we were not hiking at all till now. And it was starting to get way too hot.

Next day we went to Zadnjica valley, over Vršič, made a stop in Kranjska Gora for coffe, next stop in Kranj for burgers and headed back home.

The summer is in full swing, hot days are forecasted till mid week, so cooling down by the river is a good idea anytime.

If you have  a few days to spend, I recommend to visit Bovec area. There a lot of spots to explore and many things to do if you have the will and energy. But be aware that even thou it is summer, Soča is freezing cold. We saw a couple od northeren guys jumping in, but it so cold my feet are hurting when standing in water. For me, Soča is just too cold.

I hope you alerady started ticking off To-Do list for summer, because there are only 8 weekends in main season, then days soon become too short and too cold.
